Here is one of the first things I tell students: You probably have more experience with astral travel than you realize.
In this tradition, we teach that people naturally astral travel while they sleep. Most simply do not remember the experience when they wake up. Vivid dreams, sudden insights, a strong sense of having visited somewhere, or waking with information you did not consciously have before may feel connected to that nighttime exploration.
The difference in a class is intention. Instead of leaving the experience entirely to the subconscious, you learn how to work with your awareness consciously and responsibly.
That distinction matters. Curiosity may get you interested, but good training gives your curiosity structure.
What Is Astral Travel Like?

The goal is to learn the method, practice it, and develop your awareness over time. Sometimes the quietest experiences become the most meaningful later.
Astral Travel vs. Astral Projection
The terms astral travel and astral projection are often used interchangeably online. Both generally describe awareness extending beyond its normal physical focus.
The bigger difference is not necessarily the label. It is the approach.
You can find countless videos promising a quick out-of-body experience. What those videos often leave out is preparation. They rarely explain how to ground yourself, protect your energy, set a clear intention, or discern what you are experiencing.

This is usually one of the first questions people ask, and it is a fair one.
I believe spiritual exploration should be approached with the same common sense we bring to other meaningful practices. We would not expect to hike unfamiliar terrain without preparation or learn a physical discipline without instruction. Exploring consciousness deserves care too.
Our class emphasizes grounding, energetic protection, clear intention, and discernment. You are not encouraged to chase dramatic experiences or surrender your judgment. You learn to remain centered and present.
Astral travel is also not a replacement for sleep, mental health care, medical treatment, or living your physical life. Spiritual training should help you engage with your life more fully, not pull you away from it.
Why Would Someone Learn Astral Travel?
I have met people who come to class because of vivid dreams. Others have meditated for years and are ready to stretch a little further. And sometimes a person cannot give me a neat reason at all. They just know there is more to life than the five physical senses can explain.
The benefits can look different from person to person. You might remember your dreams more clearly. Your visualization may improve. Meditation may feel deeper, or you may begin trusting your intuition instead of immediately talking yourself out of it.
Oddly enough, the most useful result is often very practical. Training your attention helps you notice where your mind wanders, how your energy responds, and what brings you back to center.
Astral Travel and the Mystery School Tradition
Astral travel is one part of a much larger path of spiritual development.

Astral Travel Class is both educational and experiential. We talk about the practice, but we also work with techniques in class.
We begin with the fundamentals: meditation, focused awareness, and visualization. From there, we work with guided astral travel exercises, dream exploration, grounding, and energetic protection. We also talk about intention and discernment because having an unusual experience is not the same as understanding it.
You will leave with a method to practice, not merely a roomful of information.
No previous experience is required. You do not need to be an expert meditator, and you do not need to have taken another Mystery School class first.
A Life Activation is recommended because it can support clarity, energetic awareness, and alignment, but it is not a prerequisite. Some people also find that attending a guided meditation class helps them become more comfortable quieting the mind before exploring astral travel.
